What made this project especially memorable was the bold stage design, seamlessly merging scenography and lighting into a single visual language. Over 100 AsteraTubes were integrated directly into the stage, creating a vibrant canvas where music and light became inseparable. To elevate the experience, we split the lighting control: one operator dedicated exclusively to video, and another to the live show. This dialogue between practical lights and cinematic levels gave us the perfect balance — preserving the energy of the concert while achieving the precision the cameras demanded.
As one of my earliest large-scale live show experiences (2017–2018), Conexión was both a technical challenge and a creative triumph. The final result: an electrifying performance captured forever, a powerful live record that reflects the intensity, artistry, and connection of María José at her best.
