For more than a year, I lived between two worlds: in Nepal, with families waiting for their teenage sons to return home, and in Saint Lucia, alongside those same sons as they struggled to survive far from everything they knew. Through the camera, I sought to capture not only the cruelty of their circumstances, but also the resilience, love, and fragile hope that endured in spite of it all.
Lambirds was not just a documentary—it was a human encounter that forever marked my perspective as a filmmaker and as a person.
